Jina Dhillon articled with the firm and became an Associate in May of 2021. Jina maintains a broad practice including business law, wills and estates, and personal injury.
In her personal injury practice Jina works tirelessly to advocate for her clients’ needs. Her adept use of negotiation to avoid costly litigation is valued by clients and colleagues.
Jina’s work in business law involves assisting clients on a wide range of matters including business structures and corporate governance.
In her wills and estates practice, Jina assists clients with everything from estate planning to helping grieving executors administering the estate of their loved one to ensure the legal obligations are properly met.
Above all else, Jina takes care to build strong relationships built on trust and compassion.
Jina has represented clients before the British Columbia Supreme Court, the British Columbia Provincial Court, and in negotiations and mediations.
As a law student at Thomson Rivers University, she was an active member of the Women in Law Club and the Oral Advocacy club. She was a finalist in TRU’s Environmental Law Group Negotiation Competition. She was also part of the South Asian Law Students’ Association where she attended and represented TRU at the North American South Asian Law Students’ Association conference in Atlanta, Georgia.
Outside of work Jina is a mentor to first year law students. She enjoys exploring Mediterranean cuisines and hiking local trails in British Columbia with her family. Jina is fluent in both Hindi and Punjabi.
