Rachel is a Human Resources Consultant with Spraggs Law. Rachel provides HR consulting services for small to mid-size businesses on a wide range of human resource matters.
As an HR consultant, Rachel is able to utilize her breadth of knowledge and experience to assist clients with regard to the development of strategic human resource processes and policies, ensure policies and procedures comply with regulations, analyzing current HR programs and recommending solutions, assistance with challenging employees, performance management and job design.
For more than 12 years, Rachel has worked in human resources and on management teams providing practical solutions to complex issues. This includes training and development , recruitment, benefits, culture, employee relations and process improvement, including HRIS implementations and upgrades. Rachel has worked directly with leaders in many of her roles to promote effective workplace relationships and inform on legislative compliance.
Rachel has experience in multiple industries including hospitality (small business), post-secondary, retail, and law, in both non-unionized and complex, multi-union environments. Spending several years in HR generalist and advising roles, Rachel has gained knowledge and experience in many facets of Human Resources in order to effectively assist clients with their HR needs.
Rachel is calm, thoughtful and approaches all issues with a problem-solving approach.
Outside of the office, Rachel enjoys baking, volunteering and spending time with her wife and two dogs.
